Note: The word "file" is used to refer to the combination of "a video and its transcript in a pdf file form." Each video provides answer to a single question.
What products are being sold by OHO?
OHO offers:
-
Video courses: Online lectures consisting of individual videos and their transcripts as pdf files addressing specific questions in a Q/A format),
-
Online Continuing Education courses: Courses taught by qualified instructors, and
-
Hire an adjunct faculty: If and when you have a need for a part-time instructor, OHO will arrange online adjunct instructors to teach a course in your university/college.
As per the video courses, OHO arranges qualified instructors to create videos and their transcripts, each addressing a specific question in a specific topic of a specific university-level course such as "Statics" in the mechanical and civil engineering fields. Videos in a course could be thought of as a "video book!" The videos in a certain OHO course, taken collectively, could cover the entire selection of the topics covered in a university-level course. In this day and age when students don't have adequate time to dedicate to each course, and hence to spend significant time reading a traditional book, a collection of the videos and the pdf files offered by OHO could be used in lieu of a book. Instructors of a class could consider this alternative.
The students looking for additional help outside of the classroom where a course is taught would find the videos and pdf files come in handy in various ways, e.g.,
-
clear up concepts not understood during the class,
-
make available additional worked numerical examples (in quantitative courses),
-
facilitate group studies by providing common videos and pdf files that could be used as preparatory materials for follow-up group discussions, etc.
The videos and pdf files are organized as in a traditional book, so that students can refer to them in an efficient manner. Once access to a video is purchased, it will remain in your account for the period of the subscription. You can refer to it any time from anywhere - all you need is Internet service and a device to access!
The instructors may consider the video book offered by OHO as an alternative to a traditional book. The video book, when purchased by an instructor for his/her class, comes at a substantial discount.
As per the continuing education (CE) courses, OHO arranges qualified instructors to offer the following two types of CE courses:
-
OHO-administered CE courses: One can take these courses at their convenience any time of the year. The student leaning is automatically assesses via online proctored and un-proctored quizzes. Upon successful completion, the students will earn certain number of PDHs
-
Instructor-administered CE courses: These courses are very similar to the traditional CE courses, offered time-to-time over a period of two to three days. The instructor will manage the course. Upon successful completion, the students will earn certain number of PDHs.
The working professionals will hopefully find a CE course that fits their interest and need.
As per the "Hire an Adjunct Faculty" option, some of faculty are willing to teach semester-long university/college level courses on a part-time basis. OHO's recommendations and student reviews will help you evaluate the quality of OHO instructors. If you have a need for such an adjunct faculty, OHO will make the arrangements.
Do I have to register to access files/purchase credits/redeem credits and product keys?
Yes. Please sign up in the "login" section.
Do I have to pay/use credit card to register?
No. You neither need to pay nor to put in a credit card! You do this only when you purchase store credits, courses or topics (see below how to do this).
What are "Samples?"
In each course, a few videos and pdf files have been given free access so that you can check out the nature of the videos and the pdf files (quality, instructor's teaching style, etc.) These sample videos are available in the "Table of Contents" page.

In this plan, you can selectively add the videos you like to your account. The shortcoming of this method is that you don't get discounts you get in Plan B (below) where you purchase access to a whole OHO course, OR,
